This is the 20th year that Head for the Hills has been happening.  It continues to be a wonderful country ride that allows us to choose to ride on single-track paths that make up a section of the Trans-Canada Trail or we can do a gravel-grind that runs roughly parallel to the single-track.

I retired from Eden Foundation this spring but I'm still committed to taking part in this ride and to the fund-raising component.  Eden Health Care Services continues to do a massive amount of work that not only deals with severe mental health issues requiring hospitalization but it also deals with housing issues and employment issues.  Some of the work is supported by departments of the Manitoba government but lots of it is on Eden's own hook.

This is a fund-raising event and the donations we raise are a major contribution to helping making those non-supported projects a reality.
